I suggest an initial 30-minute telephone/Zoom consultation before booking appointments. This allows the client and me the opportunity to meet and greet to ensure that we can engage together in the counsellor/client working alliance.

The fee is a one-off charge of £15 for each individual and the cost is refunded after the assessment if a referral/signposting is recommended, or if the client/counsellor fit is not mutually agreed.

I practice Monday to Friday from 09.30 - 19.30 and occasionally Saturday morning for emergencies only.

I initially recommend six sessions with clients with a review at week six. However, sessions can be mutually agreed, due to personal finances. 

​

Preferably sessions are held on the same day and time (weekly/fortnightly) for continuity.

​

Our work together will be regularly reviewed to monitor the process, and I encourage my clients to voice their opinions as part of our collaborative journey.

 

The work is tailored to the client's needs with their best interests and wellbeing as my priority to honour my core values of providing trust and integrity.

I provide long and short-term counselling. During long-term counselling, the frequency of sessions is mutually agreed to suit the clients’ needs and finances.

​

Monthly maintenance sessions are available for clients who are ending long-term counselling, to make the adjustment of 'going it alone'. This helps the client adapt to ending regular counselling, while working towards endings and implementing change at a pace right for them.

Free parking is available at both practices.

​Concessionary rates are available for those on low income, financial difficulty, current service personal, or those over the age of 67.

No charge for more than 48 hrs notice.

50% for cancellations and DNAs for 24 hrs notice.

Less than 24 hrs full session fee is payable.

Please adhere to this contractual understanding before cancellations are made. 

Payments are required 48 hrs prior to appointment to secure booking - no payment no session.
